Beth–I love that you comment.
Today I want sweets. I know the reason I want them is because I’m stressed and that would provide a small amount of comfort, but intellectually knowing that doesn’t make me want them any less.
I think three weeks was a good time to go on the cleanse. At first I was shoveling in so many fruits and vegetables that it was obnoxious. But hey, I figured, it says it’s all you can eat. But now I’ve slowed down and some days (like today) I realize it’s time to eat and I’m not particularly hungry. (That could be that my body knows it’s only getting vegetables anyway, so why bothering calling for them.)
I had a dreamy salad today with stuff from the farmers market. What would people eat if they did this in any other season??

I’m making lentile tacos for dinner. My husband loved them so much when I was on the cleanse he asked for them tonight. I use red lentiles(they don’t break down as easy) Some vegie broth some spice (chile powder and cumin) all in the crock pot for 4-6hr on low. I served it in a lettuce leaf with tomatoes and peppers.
But tonight I bought some fresh chedder cheese at the farmer market. I can’t wait, I like my cheese.
Keep up the good work

I did the SP cleanse routine last year and again this year.
I swear people plan BBQs around it. Only 8 days left and I’ve passed on 3 BBQs. My Dr. does a modified cleanse diet all the time. He is the one that had me do it the first time.
If you can make it through the first week it is great. You realize how much better you can feel. My sinuses are clearer than ever. My skin is clear.
I sleep like a baby and don’t need 4 cups of coffee.
