Beth–don’t feel bad for one second. People and conversation are more important than being strict with the cleanse. I had the same problem when we were invited over to Tom’s family about a week ago. I said, “Don’t tell them I’m on a cleanse. I don’t want to be the topic of conversation.” I was careful–even though it was not AT ALL on the cleanse, and then got right back on it the next day.
Overall, I’m really happy with the program this time around, but honestly, I’m not being horribly strict with it. Basically, I follow it, but sometimes I substitute corn on the cob for the rice/lentils that I’m allowed. I still feel good, have lost a few pounds, and feel like I’m making good choices without being controlled by food.
Nancy!! Nice job!! It’s so exciting when clothes feel better. I am going on my boot camp week on August 26–so I have about 10 days. I’m quite excited. Sammy kicked my butt the other day on a run, but it felt great.
What changes is everyone going to make when this is over ? Anything permanent?
